On November 16, 2020, a round table of UNESCO clubs was held dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the creation of UNESCO.
The event was attended by leaders and coordinators of UNESCO clubs accredited by the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.
The event was opened by Executive Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, Mr. Grigory Ordzhonikidze, who noted the special contribution of NGOs to the popularization of the principles proclaimed in the UNESCO Charter.
The Acting Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk Region Mr. Detchenya sent congratulations on the 75th anniversary of UNESCO to the participants of the round table of clubs.
At the Round Table, UNESCO clubs presented their work carried out during 2020, and also formed a joint work plan for the next year in accordance with UNESCO’s key directions and taking into account national and regional priorities.
